Sanjida O'Connell

Dr Sanjida O’Connell has a PhD in zoology and psychology, and has been a TV documentary director, a wildlife presenter for the BBC, and an environmental features writer and columnist. She’s contributed to encyclopaedias, published poetry, edited two collections of creative writing and published a number of scientific papers. Sanjida’s had twelve books published – including fiction and non-fiction – winning numerous awards, and has been shortlisted for Asian Woman of Achievement. She’s mentored writers and students, and taught creative writing courses for the Arvon Foundation, the Guardian Masterclass MA on creative writing and for the young people’s charity, First Story. Sanjida focuses on developing workshops tailored to academics, researchers, and PhD students to structure and plan their work, write clearly and concisely, and adopt a narrative framework to communicate their research to their peers and to a non-academic audience.

Lee is a Leadership Development Facilitator, Coach and Psychotherapist with two decades of experience working with senior leaders in corporates, academia, and the third sector across the globe. She is particularly interested in how leadership of the self impacts the leadership of organisations and how this can impact society for the better. She has two degrees in Philosophy, an MSc in Gender and Social Policy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Social and Political Science, and a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Lee is currently studying for her third Masters degree, an MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology and a Diploma in Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy. She is a Senior Research Associate at Jesus College, University of Cambridge. Chris Burton

As a Certified Principal Business Psychologist Chris has worked closely with some of the UK’s most ambitious organisations over the last 30 years or so. University was followed by 10 years’ service in the Armed Forces, after which he was employed at senior level in several international companies. Between 2004 and 2006 he was Head of Organisation Design for British Gas. In 2006 he founded Designed4Success Ltd, a successful Organisational Development Consultancy which he sold in 2022. Chris is our expert in Behavioural Change, with a particular focus on leadership, engagement and social dynamics. Chris’s experience in the field of human behaviour underpins all aspects of the support we provide to clients, as well as shaping our future focus and innovation. In his spare time, Chris is a Board member of a charity providing support to families in crisis.
